In her secret life, Miranda Phipps is a practicing attorney who has worked at a large national firm for almost a decade. (The horror!) You name it, she’s merged it, IPO’d it, spun it out, offered it, sold it, acquired it, dissolved it and disclosed it. Miranda’s legal career has also offered her the unparalleled opportunity to abuse weak adverbial phrases and master passive voice construction.

Along the way, Miranda married her college sweetheart, discovered an undying love for historical romance and had two kids. She lives with her family in Denver, Colorado.
